School thus far

My stress level since school's started is at an all time high. So much stuff is going on, and I can't be at 2-3 places at once. I have ton's of reading every night. I go to class from 11-4pm, and go straight to work from 5-1opm. By the time I get home, I'm dead tired and don't feel like doing anything, which includes homework which is due the next day. So I end up waking up early every morning than I usually have to, just to do my homework. And I end up rushing and skimming through my readings, and not ever fully understanding the material going to class as unprepared as I can be. This also includes the bullshit I been dealing with at work, and all the damn freshmans who I've already hate. I hate Freshmans who leave their damn cups at the counter of the drinks area, when there's specifically an area that says Dish Return. I hate you all. I also missed the 1st Meeting of VSA of the schoolyear, because of work. I'm stressed so much, because I'm still waitlisted for my ANT 148 class, which I need or I have to wait another year for it, which I do not want. Life sucks. On the other hand, there's been some things that has been keeping me going and smiling. :) It's the weekend finally. Let's see what awaits.

Summer 2009

It's been a while since I have last posted here. Maybe I should start blogging more when I do have time. For some odd reason, I felt like writing a blog. So today was the last day of summer, and I can say, it was one of the greatest summer I've ever had in my entire like. Alot of stuff happened, and surprises that I never saw coming. Summer started kinda slow, off some finals that I aced on. My two sisters graduated this past June. One from highschool, and from college. Alot of my co-workers, were all leaving, people such as Alexis, Mogi, David, and alot more of the Korean folks. I really do miss them. It gives me more reason to visit Korea one day. June was fill with alot of kickbacks and parties, and it was fun. July was one of the best months of my life. I went to Tahoe again like we do every summer. It was a small group, but I still had alot of fun. Binh, Tony, Mae, Gen, Billy, Vi, Tuyen, Paul, and Inha, and myself. I had a blast. I also went on a roadtrip down to SoCAL with Nancy, Chrissy, Dayton, and Cherry, it I had alot of fun getting lost, and driving to so many different places. I really enjoyed meeting up with Kamesha, Wardell, and Brendyn. Staying in Simi Valley and hanging and getting to know them was a worthwhile experience. I learned so much about people on this trip. The trip in general, I got to meet up with Christina Tran finally, and she showed us the greatest place to get carne asada fries. It was awesome. My first experience of eating that ever. Got to saw hella friends such as Jared, Mark, and so many other btvers. Got to meet Cathy Nguyen, Vo, Gabe Bondoc, Passion, Aj Rafael, Alyssa Bernal, and so many more great performers.

I really enjoyed the trip going to Hollywood. Walking through the walk of fame was amazing. It was then that I asked Cherry out. Although, we are not together anymore, I was really happy for the one month that we were together. It was a feeling I never had in my life, and although it ended on a sour note, I wouldn't say I regret it. I've learned so many things from her, and I like to thank her for giving me the chance to become a better person, and maybe use that as a tool for another person in the future.

Random hangouts this summer with Gen, Tony, Binh, May, and Billy. Although I didn't get to hang out with Tommy this summer, it was cool. I got to hang out with Bang once this summer so it was all good. Got to hung out with my boys Derrick, David, and what not this summer at least once. I really enjoy being in Santa Cruz for the majority of the second half of summer. I really miss Santa Cruz. Although, it was a scary experience, driving on Highway 17 at 2am in the morning, going from Davis to Santa Cruz was cool haha. I got to meet Cherry's friend Grecia, who was pretty chill. I'll miss her, cuz I most likely won't see her again. I also enjoy the SF trip with Heather, Ayana, Yuka, and Dayton. It was really fun. I enjoy the amazing view of Twin Peaks, and the Academy of Sciences. I met and made alot of friends this past summer. Camping and rafting trip with my sisters and friends was fun too. Diving for the first time was hellla enjoying. I also finally got to get my Baldos with Geordee after how many months? Haha. It was cool. Saw her wear a ridiculous outfit for her Drama final haha, but I liked it. I enjoyed all the random kickbacks this summer with the co-workers Gabby, Thomas, John, Magali, Lindsay, James, Luis, and much more. I also got to meet this funny girl name Gabrielle, she's cool. We're going to Japan Town this Saturday, and I can't wait! :) Also got to hang out with Anna again after so long. Her dumbass got drunk, and I took care of her till 4am haha. And she still has my favorite black h&m hoodie. :(

Overall, I had a really eventful and enjoyable summer. Lots of random hangouts like driving to Berkeley for Eddie's b-day party, which I really had fun and haven't seen or talk to him in so long. My short relationship, was both sweet and bitter, but it was worth it. Experiences good or bad, always makes you a better person. I like to thank everyone who made my summer, a summer I won't forget. Sorry, if I didn't mention anyone who did hung out with me this summer, but know that you probably did at one point did made my summer. :)

Donating

This past week, I've done some donating, and I feel great about it. After going to Safeway to buy some corn, I ended having 83 cents back as my change. While I was walking out the store, I saw a homeless man sitting nearby. I notice I had the coins in my hands, so I decided to walk up to him, and gave it to him. He was so happy. When I saw his face smiled, it made me feel good about myself. I usually don't give money to homeless people, because I always believe that the reason they are poor, has a lot to do with their life style choices. However, there are those people who are just unfortunate and were born in a situation like that.

My second donation was this past Saturday. I went to a Children's Hospital Charity event, and there were performances by Gabe Bondoc, and Cathy Nguyen. I realized as the doors open for this event, many of the people walked past the charity case box, and sped to the podium to meet the performers. They didn't care for Children's hospital. They came to see the singers. Honestly, I was there for the singers as well, but I though about it. Why not help out a child? I ended up donating a whole $10 to the charity. I felt really good about it. Knowing I can help save a child with just $10 made me feel like I've changed a kid's life.

I work out all the time everyday, so I'm prone to sweat. And as a male, I have odor. So I use Axe Deodorant all the time, and it usually works somewhat to keep that odor under control. However, I ran out and was too lazy to go to the store to get another bottle, so after an intense workout, I stank like hell! Even after I showered too, I still stank. So my sister, told me to use lemon on my armpit, and I thought she was joking. Turns out she wasn't. I cut open a lemon I got from the fridge, and guess what, it seems to be working. My armpit having stink in over 4 days of intense workouts and sweat. Amazing.

Ugly Layouts That Get Accepted on Createblog

So I'm looking at layouts on Createblog and they look really ugly. I can't believe some of the stuff that gets accepted.

Take a look at this one for example. Are you serious? I could make this in MS Paint. And the images look like it's taken from Microsoft Clipart.

Just horrible. This is the worst. How can something like this get accepted? It fucken sucks. There's nothing nice about it at all.

Come on Createblog. You can do better than this.

Is anyone even excited about it? I'm not. The VMA's have lost their swag year after year. I mean why would I watch something with some band name Jonas Brothers, and Disney's Star Miley Cyrus on it? I want to see real shit. Heck I rather have Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass sing a Duet together.

Nutrition Jeopardy!!

So apparently, I just got back from an extra credit session for attending this Jeopardy game session they were holding for our Nutrition 10 class. So we got split into 4 groups. This one guy in another group cheated, and memorized the answers, since they were re-used questions from the previous session. So he answered almost everyone. That was no fun. Our team manage to end up with a -100 score, but we went all in on the Final Round, and came up with 0 points at the end! Yay! Our team was called the Perfect Proteins. :] The other team Nut-Trition one. Fuck them. The other teams were O-Beast, and Fatty Acids.
